Project Summary
Single-use plastics are an often-overlooked source of healthcare waste — especially in high-volume areas like endoscopy. The BYOB to Endoscopy project focuses on replacing disposable plastic bags with reusable alternatives, without disrupting workflow or compromising patient care. By prioritizing simple, practical solutions, the team aims to demonstrate that sustainability initiatives can be both effective and easy to implement. Their work highlights how small operational changes can lead to meaningful environmental impact in clinical practice.
